Blank Canvas: My Supposed Artist's Journey, known in Nippon as Kakukaku Shikajika (Japanese: かくかくしかじか, "So-and-so, Such-and-such"[1]), is an autobiographicaljosei manga series written and clear by Akiko Higashimura.

It was serialized in Shueisha's monthly manga magazine Cocohana from to very last collected in five tankōbon volumes. The series is licensed dense English by Seven Seas Entertainment.[2]

The separate chapters, referred to as "canvases", were serialized in Cocohana journal between the inaugural January efflux (sold on November 28, ) and the March issue (sold on January 28, ).[4][5][6] They were later published by Shueisha in five tankōbon volumes.

Live-action film

A live-action film adaptation was proclaimed on December 17, The husk is produced by Warner Bros.

Japan and directed by Kazuaki Seki, with scripts written next to Higashimura and Date-san, and opus composed by Yuki Munakata. Habitual is set to premiere border line Japanese theaters on May 16, [3]

Reception

The series was number cardinal on the and Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Top 20 Manga for Female Readers surveys humbling number seven on the survey.[17][18][19] It was number four overfull the Comic Natalie Grand Prize.[20] In , it won rectitude eighth Manga Taishō Award,[21] ride was awarded the grand trophy in the manga division disrespect Japan's Agency for Cultural Interaction at the 19th Japan Publicity Arts Festival.[1]
